My intro...

So ok, this is my first post, and I'm still trying to find my voice...I'm venturing out with this one, which is shocking to say the least because I'm a self-proclaimed hermit.
I'm in the process of building my personal brand. Victory1,INC. is what I have decided to name it. This is certainly an uphill feat, but I've been trudging thus far. Currently working on a project entitled "Girls on Top", ran by the "King of Clubs" in Atlanta, Pablo Henderson. There is an intended pun, but the "girls" we are referring to are female DJ's who are ON TOP of their game...get your mind out of the gutter...sheesh!

I'm on camera, which is new to me as a writer, because I always wanted to be the person behind the scenes...I guess God has different plans for because that is not how this is panning out. Anyway, I did the first interview on the rooftop of Glenn Hotel downtown ATL last Wednesday. It was beautiful! But I'd be lying if I didn't say I was freezing my willy off! Not that I have a willy, you would think so if you saw how I treat the opposite sex. One of my friends told me I was one step away from using a male escort service, she was probably right, but when I inquired about the rates, I soon realized it was just easier not to anwser my phone...

After the interview, it was all fun. Sat down and had drinks with a project manager from Time Warner, she agreed to be my mentor and also spoke to another female manager from The W Hotel, yeah you know the one, and she liked what I was doing so much that she wanted to know if I would be interested in hosting an event at the W in a couple of months. Now I'm not one to count my chickens before they hatch, but this a blog, so I guess I'm supposed to talk about how excited I was that she would even consider me for something like that! I'm certainly staying tune to see how that plays out, because in the midst of this I'm applying to Savannah College of Art & Design, editing a book that I'm not allowed to reveal, finishing up a demo to submit to SESAC Publishing for my songwriting skills (no I can't sing...well maybe if you count the shower),building a business, and having my unicorn of a significant other telling me he may have a kid WTF? Yeah,I'm definitley learning something new everyday, I wonder what tomorrow will hold?
