Everything Else

This is my favorite combo to eat for lunch at one of fav resturants in ATL...RA off of Cresent Ave
For $10 and some change I get Lobster Spring rolls ( probably one of the best things I've ever tasted!) and Spicy tuna roll with cream cheese during their happy hour...Head Chef Navarro was great company telling me about all his feats in the restaurant and food world...crossing my fingers that he'll do my b-day cake :)

How to Eat a Crab...Maryland Style!
At a family gathering (always great cause they're so silly) celebrating my Mommy and Aunty's B-day (they're twins), it was mandatory to have the Maryland Blue Crabs on deck cinsidering we're all from D.C....here's your guide so you won't prick your fingers...I sure as hell did...

Davio's Norhtern Italian located in Phipps Plaza had a very busy night yesterday, as it was their Grand Opening, an invite only affair that gave Davio's an opportunity to shine...unfortunately it was just a tad bit lack luster.

Me with  my Cosmo...I needed a drink after all the hustle and bustle of the crowded space, but the chocolate cherry wood was calming along with it's beige and white walls, I felt like the Mafia was in one of those exclusive back rooms with the majestic glass windows plotting who was going to get whacked next lol
Free cocktails and appertizers were on pass as everyone bum rushed the poor matre'd's...they didn't stand a chance...below is the Short Rib Slider, it was like pepper pot on bread, sweeten by apricot and very good! Colby Beef Pizza, which tastes just like a Big Mac (that's what they were going for), and a french baggeut topped with fresh tomatoes, zingy aoli sauce and fresh mozzarella. Oh an d the Goat Cheese and potatoe puffs (not shown)...I had to have had like 12 of them things...they just kept bringing them around!
The menu comprised of very interesting combinations, such as the the Philly Cheesesteak, Chicken Parm, and Crab cake spring rolls...I understood what they were going for, but it wasn't all that. The Scallop and Avocado paste was gummy, and the Chicken Liver they had on display looked more like dog food..hey just being honest. For the pricey menu, I was expecting more, but for the veggie eaters only club, they do have the Pizza Magherita, which was hands some of the best pizza I've had in a while! I WILL return for that...and a Cosmo, IF I'm in the area.

Langosta– fried lobster tail, avocado, Jimmy’s

sauce, mango, cucumber, teriyaki , and red tobiko...yes caviar, roe fish eggs harvested from flying fish..., this was my first time actually eating Caviar...umm it was experience...it wasn't bad...but because I KNOW what it is...I think i'll leave that to the more seasoned foodie 12.95

When my girlfriend said let's go get a popsicle...I really wasn't expecting this...and when we pulled up at the corner of N. Highland rd and Ponce in Atlanta, I wasn't expecting a one man with his cart and umbrella either. I'm going on record and saying that "THIS IS THE BEST POPSICLE I"VE EVER TASTED!"
I had the Rasberry Ice Tea, which could rival any pitcher of tea anyday and my girlfriend had the Orange Basil, and like the sign says...they're handmade and anything short of orgasmic...I think I'm going to try the Chocolate Sea Salt next!

This is the Teriyaki Salmon bowl at Sumo Sabi Rolls & Bows in Tallahassee, FL...vegetable medley over brown rice, slices of salmon with yum yum sauce..OMG! I think I ate here like 3 days in row while I was in Tally-Ho visiting some friends. The sushi was ok (not shown), I have other special places to get that at tho, so no love lost. Also the Sumo chicken here great!

Atlanta's own 'The Strip' resturaunt located in Atlantic Station is the proud owner of this beauty, the Lobster Burger. Yes, Lobster Burger!...My boo put me onto this great dish after being a repeat offender three times before I actually tried it, so naturally I'm trying to see what that be like! And it's just as great as it sounds with big chunks of lobster binded by a scallop mousse. No ketchup or condiments necessary, this thing is a showstopper without any supporting roles.

Bourbon O - a nice creole spin on an old favorite, Crawfish Patties, cream cheese, red peppers, and of course minced crawfish...sooooo f-ing good! Complete with a Hand Granade, I felt like a true Louisanianian
