The only thing better than an invention...is the reinvention...My blog revamps as my life does

I am pleased to have my new blog, it feels so much more vibrant!

My friend told me the other day that I sound so pissed in my blog and it just so happen as I was looking through my blog posts earlier that day I felt the same way! Like an angry little black girl or something...and I had to ask myself " is that really who I am?" and if so, "how can I change that... ASAP!"

My friends certainly wouldn't describe me that way, but I know that just changing a few colors on my blog wouldn't do the entire trick either, so I've been doing a tad bit of soul searching this past week, and did some activities out of this neat little book entitled The 5 Book Where will you be five years from today? by Dan Zadra. It's truly awesome and it really stimulated me mentally, physically, and emotionally. It allowed me to view facets in my life differently as well as relight the flames in others. My approach to everything is definitely altered and I like it! I think you will to.

So from now on, I'll be posting in the respective areas in the tabs, as time progresses, I imagine more of those popping up. The general area will direct you to what my hands are in that day. :)

NBC new Sitcom "Outsourced" ...This is some str8 bull**it...

I've been gone for a minute with the "wees!" and woes of the world, but I'm back now...maybe I'll get back to them in a post, maybe I won't, either way I would like to touch on NBC's "more colorful" approach to their fail...I mean Fall season line up :)

I was watching television, which is something I hardley ever do ( and this is one of the reasons why), but this commercial for this sitcom "Outsource" reared it's ugly head and I was appalled! Like how could you possible make a joke, and TV series at that, about outsourcing, when we're still in an economic downturn and outsourcing was the solution for many major and minor companies but proved to be a direct issue of displacement to Americans due to the millions of lay offs?

Now those same Americans that NBC RELIES on for ratings are being subject to this blantant disregard to REAL life because they live in Tinsel Town... it's like a slap in the face. And as much as I would like to post the trailer to display the slapstick bafoonery, I'm afraid that the droplet of American patriotism that I do have won't allow me to give them anymore free publicity. That is all...

Comments STRONGLY encouraged on this one...

M. Night SHAM!...B/C that's what he did to one of the greatest cartoons ever made...

F-ing M. Night Shyamalan...He strikes....out... again!

Soooooo I love this cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickalodeon, I've been watching it for several years now and it's ingenious in it's concept, so naturally when they said they were making it into a movie I was stoked! But when I found out that M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, The Village, Lady in the Water, Signs)...or whatever his name is, was directing it...it was like someone ran over my dog.

I believe this director set out to be the black sheep of Hollywood...seriously because every movie he's made, with the exception of Sixth Sense, was whack! He's like a one hit wonder trying to get that old thing back. His entire movies are the previews, everything else in between is filled with choppy scenes and cliff hanger endings. I just want to know who is on his team telling him "Yo this shit is hot man! The people are going to love this when they leave the theatre"...they have to be the ultimate "yes men"...I'm convinced.

And sure enough this guy trashed one of my fav cartoons man. Me and my homey knew something was up when everyone came out of the movie theatre with the "boo boo" face and one chick even said she wanted to get her money back. Truthfully, it was like a 7 on a scale of 1-10. Now don't get me wrong, Aang (Noah Ringer) had some serious moves, but this was so easy, the formula was there, it didn't even need to be tampered with at all! Aang should've been whipping more ass and the acting should've been better...bottom line. Sokka (Jackson Rathborne...who is this guy?) sucked...Katara (Nicole Peltz)was cool...I guess, and I was surprised to see Dev Patel (Slum Dog Millionaire) playing Prince Zuko...he probably should try to the ride the Slum Dog wave a little longer though.

And at the end when Shyamalan's name came on the screen a dude "booed"...and I joined in of course (hehe) I couldn't help it! :)Screw this guy man! *throws up hands and walks out the room *
